Did anyone here on hackernews not seriously assume this was the real reason for the existence of that game since day 1?
- eru 2y agoI'm not sure about the 'real reason'. It's perhaps more like: some folks an Niantic wanted to make a Pokemon game, and this way they could make it financially viable?
