How does this differ from rclone mount and its vfs/caching system, possibly combined with mergerfs or rclone union for cache tiering?
- huntaub 2y agoYes, you can absolutely get similar functionality with rclone. However, what we are solving for our customers is the ability to do this without thinking about infrastructure or deployments. Customers don't need to worry about data durability, replication, recovering off of failed drives, or availability through deployments or patches.
