Trump Team Said to Want to Ease US Rules for Self-Driving Cars
- billy99k 2y agoThis sounds a little crazy to me. We should be creating standardized rules for self-driving cars and forcing companies to follow them. It's not something you want to release fast and break something.
- jqpabc123 2y agoNext they will want to limit liability for "full self driving" cars that are not really "full self driving". Those who seek political solutions to technical problems are not to be trusted.
- whynotmaybe 2y agoI'm planning for a fault shifting where every accident with a "self driving vehicle" will require the victim to prove that the vehicle was at fault. A Tesla robotaxi missed it's turn and ended up in your living room ? You must prove that the road's quality is correct, the lines were painted with the right tint of white/yellow for the federal "Self driving code", the distance of your living room to the road respects the said code, your house siding are in a accepted material,... You were hit by a waymo while walking on the pavement ? Prove that you were wearing a color approved jacket (Soon for sale on Amazon !), the cement's quality,...
