What comes after Open Source? Bruce Perens has some ideas
- jqpabc123 2y agoA big part of what businesses expect when they purchase a software license is some reasonable assurance of ongoing support. This article focuses on how "Post Open" develoers will get paid. It ignores what users want/expect in return. I doubt this sort of one way exchange will really fly in the world of business. The overall winner here may just be traditionally licensed software.
