Gaetz is about to go through an FBI vetting process that will be broader and more thorough than the House effort. They will not neglect those accusations. Any advantage he might gain from his abrupt resignation and the hiding of this report will be short lived and unlikely to hide anything from the Senate. The DOJ has already investigated Gaetz for sex trafficking, and are painfully aware that he has been one of their greatest enemies over the last few years. It is safe to say they do not look forward to his leadership. We can trust them to perform this particular investigation with their full attention.

This is such a sad assault on open society. The bleating accusations of deep state & wokeness are just so unbelievably hollow, coming from folks who circumvent reasonable discovery, are such sad blowing smoke up people's you know what.
