Both the Apple II and the Commodore PET used the 6502. I'm amazed that these were not mentioned in the original article. I wrote a bunch of 6502 code for Micro Technology Unlimited's music and graphics boards for the PET, and even wrote my own assembler in PET Basic. Fun Times!
