I’m slowly making my way through it a second time and thoroughly enjoying it. The first time through it seemed quite abstract, albeit only because of my completely lack of real world programming. The second time through it a revelation as I now have a strong base of experience through which to understand it (experience which it also, informs!). I am using Elixir’s Livebook to take notes and complete the exercises. It is very helpful to have a live notebook tool while reading it!
