- paulryanrogers 2y agoMajorities can be tyrannical, ignorant, easily motivated by fear, etc. One election doesn't prove that most people don't care about such things. After all Obama was elected twice and he brought things significantly closer to single payer healthcare. And in 2024 some very red states made the right to abortion constitutional and dropped prohibitions on same-gender marriage.
