Systems Design is IMO the most useless part of those interviews. Interviewers are just trying to find someone who would design a system the same way they did.

Systems Design is IMO the most useless part of those interviews. Interviewers are just trying to find someone who would design a system the same way they did. They used a queue? They want you to add one. They used serverless? Better say the word "Lambda" somewhere. They hate serverless? Ooops better stick to regular servers. In the end yeah, it's about following a script, but also reading the room.
