- onecommentman 2y agoThis rewrite of the linked article title is unhelpful. Significant rain has always been the only way to break a drought since forever. I prefer the raw US soil moisture maps to the US drought monitor map. The calculation of “drought” for the drought monitor map is too opaque for me.
