Lessons from Palantir Alums About Building a Tech Company
- svsaraf 2y agoHi folks - author here, happy to answer any questions!
- ilrwbwrkhv 2y agoWell I think the article is just false.
- ilrwbwrkhv 2y ago"Palantir was fundamentally different from almost any tech company out there. That difference may be why it succeeded." Lol not really. There are lot of historical companies which made it big with connections to the govt. Almost every single country has them. The fact that is a tech company is coincidental. Even if it was an ice cream business it would succeed. The employees, especially like the folks writing this article have zero to do with it's "success", which itself is questionable I think.

- ryan-c 2y agoReally weird for me to see someone talk about 2015 like it was "early days" at Palantir, having been there mid 2009 to early 2014.
- svsaraf 2y agoRyan! Good to hear from you. I enjoyed this comment - I suppose early / late is relative. Palantir was founded in 2003 after all.
- throwaway4736 2y agoThe hagiography of Palantir on here is so tiresome.
