Show HN: Railway – A better way to build software. Period
- whatnotests2 2y agoIs this like Ruby on Rails but for Heroku-esque cloud environments?
- justjake 2y agoYou could think of it like that, except it supports anything But yes, convention over configuration (and we still expose the knobs if you want em)

- gsemyong 2y agoRailway is truly remarkable. I wish it was cheaper though, because currently, given the 10-10000x price difference in comparison to hetzner+coolify, using it in production is not justifiable for me. I am curious if you are planning on reducing prices once fully switched to railway metal?
- replwoacause 2y agoI used it to deploy a web app written in PowerShell in a docker container. I loved the DX. If it wasn’t so expensive I’d probably use it in more stuff. But I’ll suffer more manual work on hetzner to save a little $$$
- hilti 2y agoMy railway is currently write code, test on my local webserver and then rsync it to my dedicated machine.
