I hadn't used Java since my first year of programming and didn't want to spend too long on it. As it was basically a game modding tool I just wanted a jar that works on a wide variety of devices because that's what I'm used to in that scene as a user. I didn't even know Jlink was a thing though, thanks for mentioning it! will look into it to see if it's worth adding whenever I return to the project
