- renewiltord 2y agoThis is also why I think men shouldn't have hair on their head. You know who else did that? Hitler.
- UltraSane 2y agoWould you have bought a car from Hitler while knowing about the holocaust? I sure hope not.
- archerx 2y agoThe VW Beetle was a very popular car...
- UltraSane 2y agoNot relevant.
- Tade0 2y agoPlenty of people were buying VWs despite the company's history. There are actually several such companies in Germany.
- archerx 2y agoHow is it not relevant? The car was literally Hitler’s idea and lots of people still bought it post WW2.
- UltraSane 2y agoHow many people bought it while knowing about the holocaust?

- janalsncm 2y ago> The Tesla CEO is busy undermining democracy in the US by lying thousands of times on Twitter. That is a non sequitur. Streamlined car-buying has nothing to do with Twitter.
- UltraSane 2y agoTwitter is owned by the CEO of Tesla who has gone insane and has turned Twitter into his own little yellow-journalism platform that he has flooded with liars and used to amplify lies.
- janalsncm 2y agoI understand that EM is the link between Twitter and Tesla. However, the topic of this thread is middlemen which are no longer necessary. No matter what EM does with Twitter, it has no bearing on the merits of direct-to-consumer car sales, of which Tesla is only one example.
- UltraSane 2y agoCar dealerships were never really necessary. States just made it illegal to sell cars directly to consumers. It was always corruption.
