My main gripe for blocking ads is privacy and in-video segments where the presenter says stuff does not violate my privacy.
- aspenmayer 2y agoSponsorBlock is very configurable so that you can block only the kinds of native ads you want, while letting others play normally or only skipping them manually instead of automatically.
- ajdude 2y agoThis is not likely to be a popular take but I think that YouTube premium should not only block banner ads, but also block in-video ads the way that sponsorblock does.
- kelnos 2y agoI do mind those bits because they are ads, and I despise ads. I won't subject myself to psychological manipulation if I can help it.
