- m463 2y agoI was wondering how this compared to semaglutide and found this: > Tirzepatide and semaglutide are type 2 diabetes drugs often used for weight loss. Tirzepatide is less expensive and may be more effective. > The total cost of 72 weeks of tirzepatide treatment was estimated to be about $17,500 compared to $22,800 for 68 weeks of semaglutide. Overall, the cost to treat each 1% reduction of body weight was $985 with tirzepatide and $1845 with semaglutide.
