Musk wants to cut spending and immigration but not for H1Bs
- PeterStuer 2y agoWouldn't approved H1B by definition fall into the desired legal skilled immigrant category?
- paulryanrogers 2y agoIn practice H1Bs are borderline wage slavery.
- dartos 2y agoHey now. It’s only indentured servitude
- dyauspitr 2y agoA lot of Americans would be pretty happy with “wage slavery” that pays 80k a year.
- paulryanrogers 2y agoWhich is a good reason they should be overhauled and enforced consistently, to stop the abuse of both foreign workers and suppression of 'native' wages.
- dyauspitr 2y agoI guarantee the foreign workers would pick this so called high paying abuse over returning to their countries and making a pittance. You’re transparent, you only really care about the suppression of native wages and you should just lead with that next time.
- paulryanrogers 2y agoOne can care about the welfare of both. You're being presumptuous.
