Being a good designer or coder isn't the same thing as being good at making money. It can be a part of the money making equation, but your code/design won't make money alone. Monetization of a website is a problem that a lot of businesses struggle with, even Facebook. I took a look through the websites in your profile. Your peers might be afraid to tell you this, but I'll give it to you straight: they are awful. The color schemes are bizarre, the code doesn't follow any standards, and they don't provide value. At least that's how they appear to me.
