Training is unprofitable, whether for AIs or humans.
Once it's trained to good enough however, you can just use it. AI has a long history, and at each step of its progress, more things became possible.
- TheNewsIsHere 2y agoTraining is only unprofitable if your time horizon for measuring profitability is less than it takes for the training to make a return. Sometimes that return is intangible, sometimes it is tangible.
