- tingletech 2y agoIs that an AI singer, or a real band?
- WorkerBee28474 2y agoIt's Suno (generative AI).
- recursive 2y agoIt is AI. To me, it sounds pretty... bad. I don't think there's a fundamental reason AI couldn't generate music that sounds good. But the vocals sound to me like they're coming through a super low-bandwidth VOIP codec. Stylistically the music was good, but composition seemed to lack direction. It sounded "noodle"-y, as often happens in jam bands. There's no motif or strong melodic idea to anchor the song and give it an identity. There's still a long way to go.
- amne 2y agoIs it only me that needs to see the text to match the sounds to words? I wouldn't know what the song is about from just listening.
