We were all there. We remember how it was. No-one is saying that. It's just as false as it is to say the Republicans (and Trump) were never pro-vaccine. They were, but once a) the lack of severity of COVID was better understood, and b) the lack of effectiveness and the side effects of the vaccine became known, they became more sceptical. And masks still don't work, and are a waste of time. The science tells us that.
