- stuaxo 2y agoWe have a current gov whose main idea seems to be promising very little, so I'm not optimistic for change either.
- meiraleal 2y agoI find it very ironic that British people didn't complain much about their government for 10 years. Now everything is the government faults haha. Gotta name those Tories.
- tetris11 2y agoBritish people do what their media tells them to do. The BBC did nothing but raise an eyebrow or two at all the misdeeds perpetrated by the Tories. Labour in comparison gets a full on beating for every slight misdeameanor. With GB news now becoming a normalised household mouthpiece, this will only get worse.
- zeristor 2y agoPerhaps, but trains that can draw electricity and use batteries means that less costly infrastructure needs to be built, as the article states. Also if electric lines fall down again conceivably things be got working again quite quickly. Although putting the lines back up and closing it so the maintenance staff can safely repair would still need to take time.
