Actually just asking for a friend. I think it does not have to loop or anything. Just needs to let me "listen" through the midi out instead of the phone. Caveat if course is, that I'd need to remember the synthesizer/settings/presets to have it sound the same again, but maybe half the fun to guess a bit and get happy accidents.
