If so, then this isn't really about separating the art from the artist?
- cmiller1 2y agoMy takeaway was that Han's problems were intrinsically tied to the both the architecture and code in ways that made it difficult for others to contribute and fix. The artist's influence on the art caused its ultimate demise.

- lambdasquirrel 2y agoIt’s not just Hans. Who hasn’t known some leading artist who was like this? Or even some former colleague? I’m sure most of us “artsy” types go through some phase like this, but this guy made it his whole life, and never questioned it until it was too late, too little. The art and the artist thing is real.

- dagmx 2y agoYeah, it’s been almost two decades. Anyone saying it’s art vs artist now would only make sense if people were clamouring to keep it in because of who the creator is. Otherwise this is no different than any other project that fell off the wagon of support due to issues in a maintainers life outside the project.
