Software engineering is well on the way to normalizing, IMO. The job market has not been great for the past two years. The margins in finance are getting squeezed too by tech. If you’ve been investing for a decade or two, you know how much lower fees are now.
- arcbyte 2y agoSoftware will continue to eat the world. There's a massive push to cut costs right now and hence the software job market is under considerable pressure, but companies are burying themselves in tech debt and low quality solutions. This will catch up to them very soon.
