Clap handles the option/argument parsing as one who is used to unix tooling might expect, but why does it deviate so heavily when it comes to the auto-generated

Clap handles the option/argument parsing as one who is used to unix tooling might expect, but why does it deviate so heavily when it comes to the auto-generated doumentation and error messages? Those also form part of the unix user experience. Things like python's argparse get this correct. But to make clap conform to my expectations requires writing my own help string, usage string, and error handling.
