Are police allowed to do this in Western Europe?
Everything I read about the police in the US suggests to me that they are an array of paramilitary thugs that are supported by the courts, so not suprised they do this.
Curious if these tricks are allowed in the civilised world too?
- Leptonmaniac 2y agoIn Germany, "means of deception" are listed in section 136a of the Code of Criminal Procedure [1] as one of "prohibited examination methods" among things like induced fatigue, hypnosis, medications or torture.
