No methodology will get good work out of bad people.
Having good people is table stakes.
- pdimitar 2y agoI've met some pretty obnoxious and difficult programmers but statistically most managers I ever met were difficult. So yep, agreed with your point. Problem with hiring good people is that you also have to give them the space and time to show their talents. Shoving them into meetings mostly aimed at people who are bad at communication and/or are junior in terms of abilities is the best way to destroy their motivation.
