Just an FYI, there is extant code called Aide[0][1] (Advanced Intrusion Detection Environment) as well that's under active development/maintenance. Since they perform vastly different functions (the above is a replacement for tripwire[2]), it's unlikely anyone will be confused, but be aware that it exists. There's always someone who will mistake one for the other.
