Isn't slavery supposed to be a state's rights issue?
- Terr_ 2y agoOnly in the sense that slave-owners tried to take away the rights of other states to not participate and assist in slavery, and then wrote their own constitution which forced every state to have slavery forever no matter what. ... But in the conventional sense of increasing state autonomy, no. :p
