- chairmansteve 2y agoPeople buy gold coins and hide them under the mattress. For when the zombie apocalypse happens. Bitcoiners think BTC can be used for the same purpose.
- t0bia_s 2y agoBitcoiners use it on daily basis for all kind transactions. There are some, that completely abandoned fiat and use only crypto.
- tim333 2y agoNot really - it functions economically in a similar manner to gold. Both have a primary use - jewellery or digital payments - and a secondary function as a store of value. Iron isn't much use for financial reserves unlike bullion.
- lottin 2y agoSo like a house which also can function as a store of value. You're saying bitcoin is 'digital housing'?
