Are you attributing the US Democrat Party to be the progenitors of democracy?
- fnordsensei 2y agoIt's probably not that, but (separately) both the Democratic Party and democracy for the same reason: if Republicans successfully engineer (what's effectively) a one-party state. Regardless if the dems still exist in name or not, both them and democracy are done.
