- mbg721 2y agoCan you explain why his conviction is relevant? As it stands, the facts are that it was for hush-money paid to Stormy Daniels, but it's clearly viewed as political by voters. I would agree that it was a grave matter if his felony were an unrelated murder or something, but that's not the situation, and again, voters are not stupid.
- mlnj 2y agoI believe you'd make the same excuses in his defense even if the conviction was for 'murder or something'. Everything from quoting Mein Kampf to praising Hitler's generals to using Nazi rhetoric has been done in the last few months. https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2024-election/trump-says-immigrants-are-poisoning-blood-country-biden-campaign-liken-rcna130141 https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2024-election/trump-says-im... https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2024/oct/27/trump-madison-square-garden-rally https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2024/oct/27/trump-madiso... But I've come to believe that folks like you will continue to make excuses no matter how low he stoops. "and again, voters are not stupid." Isn't it?
