What I needed was money to buy a coffee and sit and charge my phone and get out of the weather for a few hours. To buy aspirin and clean socks, cash to wash my clothes and sleeping bag. Toothpaste, shoelaces. Just a dozen little things that cost a few dollars I didn't have.
