- daft_pink 2y agoit’s like a highly valuable serverless service with a negatively valued shopping store attached.
- bryanlarsen 2y agoIt's wild that their business which involves physical infrastructure like several massive warehouse per city, thousands of trucks, et cetera requires less capital than a "software" business which is traditionally capex-light.
- dehugger 2y agoAWS is literally a hardware business... That's the entire point of it.
- bastard_op 2y agoMost of that is probably going to be funneled directly into GPU's, namely Nvidia, for now still, and so is networking for them with NVLink and NVSwitch switching.
- PorterBHall 2y agoThat’s a poor headline. Since when does “cough” mean spend? Maybe they meant “cough up,” but spend is so much more clear. Don’t get me started on “capex.”
