Eh, I'm pretty sure facts do change MY mind
- ninetyninenine 2y agoHere's a fact: You're utterly wrong and there's tons of scientific evidence behind this fact. Look! it's not changing your mind.
- amatecha 2y agoFirst, "citation needed", but also for me personally, I'm often totally undecided or otherwise un-committed to one view or another about something, because I sense my knowledge of that thing is minimal, or my only exposure to that thing is via hearsay and anecdotes etc. … so it remains in that unresolved state until I either gain more information or am forced to make a choice with incomplete info. I don't often see this approach from other people, for whatever reason.
