Cost and durability as well. Physical knobs wear out because of friction and dust.
- dredmorbius 2y agoIn well over five decades of experience with automobiles I have never once had a physical nob wear out. In my own vehicle, or those of anyone I've encountered. I'm not saying it never happens, but it would be an exceptional outlier circumstance.
