  The pattern is clear, though: a LLM by design will enforce whatever patterns it detects. As a consequence, we’ll end up with a content heat-death where all available content is pretty much the same

  UW is a leading public R1 university with 50,000 students and almost 5000 faculty. Are you really going to tar them with all with your "openly bigoted" brush?! That feels a very simplistic take. To put it another way, you can't find any organization, anywhere, of that scale, that doesn't have some problematic people. Or do you really believe that all universities are "openly bigoted" and therefore all their research should be ignored? Or are you content with continued preference being given to white guys?
