Location: Sofia, Bulgaria. Remote: Yes, exclusively. Willing to relocate: No. Technologies: Elixir (8.5y), Golang (3y), Rust (3y). 23 years of career in total, worked with C/C++, Java, JS, Ruby (+ Rails) as well. About me: Hardcore backender with sysadmin / ops skills. Problem solver first and foremost, worked in many different types of businesses, drawn to devising lean and focused solutions. Advocate of old-school pragmatism. Fights hard against unnecessary complexity. Prioritizes maintainability above everything else. What I am looking for: Work where there are no death marches -- not often at least. Smaller teams are preferred. As a senior dev I am fully able to architect, design, implement and deploy a project from scratch, provided I have access to the relevant stakeholders. Remote + async (no strict working hour ranges) positions are preferred, though I work just fine with firmer schedules. --- Aside: interested in all sorts of automation, and financial trading.
