Record numbers of wealthy Americans are making plans to leave US after election
- shitfast 2y agoNothing burger.
- AznHisoka 2y agoThe demand for 2nd passports has always existed. Water is wet.
- more_corn 2y agoThey best vote first. The way democracy works is that you vote for what you want. If our democracy ever fails it will be because people use something other than voting to get what they want. Or if someone stops allowing the votes to be taken or fairly counted. Unless and until that happens the way to do it is to vote.
- steelframe 2y ago> They best vote first The votes of all of the 1% are worth about one-hundredth as much as the votes of all the rest of us. They won't be missed. Except perhaps in one or two counties in a swing state. The lack of their money sloshing into the political system, on the other hand, will very much have an impact.
- 73kl4453dz 2y agoIt is possible to leave and vote. As to leaving and making political contributions, i suspect in the worst case a US domicile company could make them.
- ImJamal 2y agoI think they are going to leave in the same way all those celebrities left the US after the 2016 election like they claimed they would.
