Believe there was a zoo that started feeding monkeys with "modern" bananas and had to revert back to the old traditional banana, because the monkeys were getting diabetes.
- rootusrootus 2y agoThat's interesting. I thought gros michel bananas are actually sweeter than cavendish, not the other way around? They're otherwise closely related, IIRC. I wonder what they will come up with after cavendish fails?
