Not just the US. As a kid growing up in Russia, I was very aware of Alexander's prominence (known to us as Alexander the Macedonian).
- markdown 2y agoI mean, it was in the curriculum in Fiji where I studied. Stupid of course, because we had to learn the histories of far away places (literally on the other side of the world) more than our own history.
