- lutzh 2y agoGood catch! Indeed, without me realizing it, this trigger/data duality is pretty much what Event Message and Document Message are in "Enterprise Integration Patterns" (which is what the post you linked refers to). As it happens, in the book the authors also speak about "a combined document/event message", which is how me mostly use events in EDA today, I think.
