Pascal was my first "real" programming language and the language used in my CS undergrad. I even used it to develop for a bare metal 68000 system and a MicroPDP-11. But once I learned C and found how much easier it was to do embedded development, I left it behind. I have Lazarus and FreePascal and play with them now then, but it's more a nostalgia thing than anything else. I should probably try developing something useful with it one of these days.
