I'm currently working on a set of OpenSSL bindings for go. https://github.com/shanemhansen/go-ssl/ https://github.com/shanemhansen/go-ssl/ Honestly the project is only a few days old and really sucks, but I found wrapping OpenSSL's SHA and AES features trivial. cgo is the most awesome FFI I've ever used. SHA hashing is actually faster using the OpenSSL version.
