OpenAI launches its Google challenger, ChatGPT Search
- dtagames 2y agoSo far, it's pretty good. It performs the search, aggregates and summarizes the content, and gives nicely formatted output, including an inline video player in one example I tried[0]. In another search, I asked about an event from a few days ago and got back several references with links to the original articles[1]. - mrkramer 2y agoI think this will mostly hurt Perplexity because Google controls web distribution through Chrome, Android and Google Play so it won't phase them.
