Tell HN: LLMs finally allow amateurs to build simple software
It's game-changing.
This may not be exactly game-changing among experienced programmers, but for me, as an amateur, it is: I just built two simple Chrome extensions with Claude that worked like a charm on the first attempt! I tried to build the same extensions some months ago, but despite the code looking good (I have built a couple of Chrome extensions 'by hand' myself), I didn't manage to debug them. Now they just work.

- ddgflorida 2y agoFor experienced programmers, LLMs are useful to code in languages you are not familiar with, i.e. Golang.
