Other than my own prejudice against the absurdity of patenting common sense software features, I don't understand why this suit doesn't affect all Android products?
It seems like the patented feature in question is pure software available on other Android phones.
- prodigal_erik 14y agoUnlike with trademarks, patent holders get a lot of leeway about whom to sue and when without immediately endangering their patents through estoppel. I don't know what makes waiting more effective and evil, but that's why they have the option.
