Nope, they are just doing their job. Musk is the one taking risk and making choices. Musk could hire other engineers and they would still achieve pretty much the same results. Those xAI engineers though can go elsewhere, but there is close to 0 chance they would achieve the same thing there. Leadership is important and we tend to forget it lately. Now, weather this leadership leads in the right direction here is up to debate. I personally don't think so. But the speed at which they build it is in itself an achievement, and it happened under Musk. PS. Praise from Jensen Huang who just sold them those 100k GPUs is very funny though. It's not like the guy would say that they are all useless.
