Mass/Maas uses European results in his blog often, often commenting that the European predictions for the PNW are more accurate. So, fine, that's great. Why does the US have to keep up? Will it stop the decline of the Empire? Is it a stab in the heart of our world posture? Are we doomed to having to be the best at everything for all of eternity? I don't get it. I'm more upset about all the interest being paid on the US national debt that -could- have been spent on something great instead.
